New facility enhances maintenance & repairs

Peterbilt of Sioux City provides Total Customer Support and award-winning service* through our state-of-the-art facility, which opened in the fall of 2006. This 48,000 square-foot building features 16 service bays, seven body shop bays and specialty bays for quick lube, alignments, paint booth and service write-up.

Our Service Center technicians have more than 300 years of training and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks. Mechanics work on two shifts to get customers back on the road ASAP. We are an authorized Cummins & Caterpillar engine repair and warranty location. Our shop is fully-staffed with factory-trained technicians and equipped with the latest engine diagnostic technology and tools for fast, accurate trouble-shooting and repair. Our technicians also handle brakes, driveline, hydraulics, electrical, air conditioning, fuel systems and electronic controls.

By using our Vis-Check Undercarriage Diagnostic machine, our technicians can spot hidden brake, steering, suspension, bearing, and kingpin problems. This dynamic simulator measures how your vehicle performs and can spot normally undetectable mechanical issues, before they cause a costly breakdown.

Our Parts Department keeps on hand a $1 million inventory of parts for most makes of commercial trucks to help service technicians speed repairs.
